I never donated clothes to Charity’s and recently found out that you can get tax returns. I have low income and usually don’t pay taxes, but get some money returned to me yearly, so will donating increase my tax return, or it works only for reduction of taxes some people have to pay? I am confused .

My boyfriend and I just closed on a home together. We want to file an amended tax return for the first time home buyers tax credit. How would we go about both filing an amended tax return. I know we need a certain form to amend and a certain form for the first time home buyers tax credit, but do we need to mail them in together, or just separately? Thanks in advance.

I filed my tax return on 1/31/08 and included the Injured Spouse Form 8379. My refund status still says delayed and when ever I call for information I get a different story. It has now been over 11 weeks and still no change in the refund status. Now I am concerned that even though I filed 3 months ago, my rebate will also be delayed. Anyone have any insight?
